Tamara Tilburgs is a Cincinnati based Dutch artist and scientist. She is an abstract painter and ceramicist. While she has painted most of her live, she started ceramics only in 2021. In both her painting and ceramics she enjoys experimenting with textures and colors to create organic surfaces. Tamara is also an Associate Professor at Cincinnati Children's Hospital where she studies how maternal immune responses control placental infections during pregnancy.
